Also, just for girls: Enter Marvel’s “Thor: Ragnarok” STEM Challenge! In an effort to keep young girls interested in STEM education and career paths, the studio has launched its annual STEM challenge aimed specifically to girls ages 15 to 18. Five finalists will be selected and will receive an expenses-paid trip to Hollywood to present their completed projects in front of a panel of experts in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and/or math. They will also walk the red carpet at the premiere of Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Ragnarok.” See below, or click here for more information.

Keep working on your projects! If you’ve finished your project, then feel free to continue with the Codesters more advanced lessons to learn more about Python.
A reminder: Our Parent/Friends night is scheduled for Wednesday, August 9, at 6:30pm. The girls will show off their projects, and we’ll all belly up to the (sundae!) bar and celebrate the girls’ hard work with ice cream and all the toppings!
Below is the lesson and upcoming assignments for our Girls Who Code Summer Camp. If you are enrolled in Rodgers Library GWCSC and have questions about the assignment or about programming in Python, please call the library at 603-886-6030, or email Mz Vicky at email@example.com.
